The Colstrip steam electric station (CSES) is a 1,480 MW coal-fired power plant located near Colstrip, Rosebud County, Montana, US. Units 1 & 2 are permanently shut down, Units 3 & 4 have a capacity of around 740 MW each.

Reporting Information

We will report to site at 0700 on Thursday, 5/16. We will need to go to a local clinic for drug screening on Thursday morning. Please bring you driver’s license!

All personnel that are flying will be flying into Billings, MT (BIL). The hotels are 1.5 – 2 hours from the airport.

Work shifts will be 0700 – 1700, Monday – Saturday.

We will be working under Colstrip’s LOTO and confined space programs.

Ensure you bring your PPE (hard had, safety glasses, steel or composite toe safety shoes).

We have a very large scope (~41,000 tubes) and will be running 4 stations in parallel.
